Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

While using Our Service, We ask You to provide Us with certain personally identifiable information that will be used by You to log into our Service and that can be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service. Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that You visit, the time and date of Your visit, the time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

We use this information to provide features of Our Service, to improve and customize Our Service. The information may be uploaded to HashelNut's servers and/or a Service Provider's server or it may be simply stored on Your device. You can enable or disable access to this information at any time, through Your Device settings.

Third party service providers

The app does use third party Services from Google and Facebook to create a HashelNut user account and identify you. As one of theirs users Those services may collect information about you.

Storing Data

If you signed up for HashelNut, your data is stored in data centers in Germany and France. These are third-party provided data centers in which HashelNuts rents designated resources.

End-to-End Encrypted Data

To ensure the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption algorithms (eg SSL) via HTTPS to transfer Your messages, media and files to our servers.

Spam

To prevent phishing, spam and other kinds of abuse and violations of HashelNut‘s Terms of Service, moderators may check messages that were reported to them by their recipients. If a spam report on a content you posted is confirmed by our moderators, your account may be limited or blocked. In case of more serious violations, your account may be banned. We may also use automated algorithms to analyze content to stop spam and phishing.

Use of Your Personal Data

HashelNut may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain our Service, including to monitor the usage of our Service.
• To manage Your Account: to manage Your registration as a user of the Service. The Personal Data You provide can give You access to different functionalities of the Service that are available to You as a registered user.
• To contact You: To contact You by email, telephone calls, SMS, or other equivalent forms of electronic communication, such as a mobile application's push notifications regarding updates or informative communications related to the functionalities, products or contracted services, including the security updates, when necessary or reasonable for their implementation.

HashelNut will retain Your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. HashelNut will also retain Usage Data for internal analysis purposes. Usage Data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when this data is used to strengthen the security or to improve the functionality of Our Service, or We are legally obligated to retain this data for longer time periods.

HashelNut will update this privacy statement as necessary. An email will be sent to the email address stored with the user profile to inform users about major changes to this statement (e.g. changes to the user rights, new functions, new contact persons etc.). By continued access to and use of HasehlNut after such changes have taken effect, users declare their consent to being legally bound to the revised privacy statement.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.

Consent and withdrawal of consent

When registering with HashelNut, users agree to collecting, saving and processing their personal data subject to this Privacy Statement and our General Terms and Conditions. Users will have to explicitly consent to this procedure when they create their user profile. HashelNut logs both the granting of the consent and the entire process of user profile creation.
